JM Industrial Tools was established in April1997, in Roxby Downs, repairing and selling tools to the Olympic Dam mine site until 2002, at which time it moved to Adelaide.

In April 2002, JM Industrial Tools was purchased by Phillip Gear. Phillip began to expand the business by way of introducing new tools to the existing range, becoming a distributor for Melbourne based company (Trax and Kawasaki) and increasing the customer base to include the tyre, trucking and hire industries.

In April 2003 the opportunity arose to secure a larger premises at Plympton North which has allowed JM Industrial Tools to expand.

In February 2007 Phil sold the business to Tim & Robyn Gleeson who trade as T & R Engineering Pty. Ltd.

In March 2008 We moved to a Larger workshop at Unit 8 / 5 Tooronga Ave Edwardstown
